Case 310B Backhoe Loader
The
Case 310B is a two-wheel drive backhoe loader. This model was manufactured
between 1958 and 1960. The Case 310B is powered by Case G148 four-stroke
4-cylinder liquid-cooled gasoline engine with a maximum power of 42 Hp (31.3 kW)
and 173.6 Nm (128 lb-ft) of max torque at 1200 rpm.
The Case 310B backhoe loader was fitted with three types of
transmission. 1st type: 8x8 Dual Range transmission with mechanical
shuttle. 2nd type: 4x1 gear transmission. 3rd type: Triple-Range
transmission with 12 forward and 3 reverse gears.
The maximum travel speed (forward and reverse): 22.9 mph (36.8 km/h) /
22.8 mph (36.7 km/h). The direct drive hydraulic system includes a gear
pump with a rated capacity of 19 gpm (72 lpm). The main relief pressure
is 110 bar (1600 psi). The Case 310B is equipped with 7.50x16 front
tires and 13.0x24 rear tires. The wheelbase is 75.3" (1910 mm).
The loader’s maximum lift height is 129.8" (3290 mm) at pin and bucket
dump clearance is 109.5 (2780). The lifting capacity is 1500 lbs (680
kg) at maximum height (bucket pin), and breakout force (bucket on
ground) is 3000 lbs (1360 kg). The estimated cycle times are 6.5 seconds
raising to maximum height, and 4 seconds to full bucket dump. The loader
is compatible with 48" (1210 mm), 56" (1420 mm), and 63" (1600 mm)
buckets.
The backhoe has a maximum depth of 150" (3810 mm). The overall reach
from swing pivot at ground line is 194" (4920 mm). The backhoe can be
fitted with 14" (355 mm), 16" (405 mm), 19" (480 mm), 24" (605 mm), or
30" (760 mm) buckets.
