Massey Ferguson 50B Backhoe Loader
The
Massey Ferguson 50B backhoe loader is powered by Perkins A4.212 four-cylinder
direct injection liquid-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 62 Hp (45.9
kW) and 233 Nm (173 lb-ft) of max torque at 1250 rpm. The MF 50B is equipped
with two transmission options: dual range transmission with 6 forward and 2
reverse gears, or 4x4 power shuttle transmission with torque converter.
Max. forward or revers speed - 18.5 mph (29.7 km/h). The open center
hydraulic system used a gear pump with a rated capacity of 23.8 gpm
(90.4 lpm). The main relief pressure is 182.5 bar (2650 psi).
The Massey Ferguson 50B is fitted with 9.00x16 front tires and 14.9x28
rear tires. The front end loader has a lift capacity (bucket pin) of
4670 lb (2120 kg) to full height of 165 in (4200 mm), and breakout force
(bucket on ground) of 7650 lb (3445 kg). A reach with a 45-degree max
dump angle is 64 in (1620 mm). The boom raising time is 4.3 seconds from
ground line to full height, and bucket dumping time is 1.2 seconds. The
7-ft general purpose bucket has a nominal heaped capacity of 27 cu.ft
(0.77 m3) and weight of 686 lb (312 kg).
The backhoe has a maximum digging depth of 169 in (4275 mm), and reach
from swing pivot of 209 in (5285 mm) at ground level. The loading height
is 130 in (3290 mm). The backhoe can be equipped with 18", 24" and 30"
buckets.
