Massey Ferguson 60H Backhoe Loader
The
Massey Ferguson 60H is a two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive backhoe loader.
This model was manufactured from 1987 to 1997. The Massey Ferguson 60H powerline
includes a 248 cu.in (4.1L) Perkins A4.248 4-stroke 4-cylinder direct injection
liquid-cooled diesel engine and 4x4 power shuttle transmission with torque
converter. The engine has a cylinder bore of 3.98" (102 mm), piston stroke of
5.0" (127 mm), rated power of 77 hp (57.5 kW), and maximum torque of 286 Nm (211
lb-ft) at 1400 rev/min.
The maximum travel speed (forward and reverse): 17.6 mph (28.3 km/h).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with a flow rate
of 33 gal/min (125 l/min). The main relief pressure is 190 bar (2750
psi). The MF 60H backhoe loader was equipped with a hydrostatic power
steering, hydraulic wet disc brakes, 11Lx16 (2WD) or 14.0x17.5 (4WD)
front tires, and 16.9x28 (2WD) or 19.5Lx24 (4WD) rear tires. The wheel
base is 85.9" (2180 mm) for 2-wheel drive models and 85.7" (2170 mm) for
4-wheel drive models.
The loader has a max lift height of 165.5" (4200 mm) at pin and
clearance with bucket dumped of 108.3" (2750 mm). The lifting capacity
is 6017 lbs (2730 kg) at full height (bucket pin), and breakout force is
8838 lbs (4010 kg). The rated cycle times are 3.6 seconds lifting to
maximum height, and 0.9 seconds maximum bucket dumping. The 88" (2230
mm) bucket has a rated capacity of 31.5 cu.ft (0.9 m3).
The MF 475 backhoe with extendable stick has a max depth of 238" (6020
mm). The bucket digging force is 10756 lbs (4878 kg), and dipperstick
digging force is 7604 lbs (3449 kg). The overall reach from swing pivot
at ground line is 286.5" (7270 mm). The backhoe can be fitted with 16"
(405 mm), 18" (455 mm), 24" (605 mm), 30" (760 mm), and 36" (910 mm)
buckets.
