Cat 430E Backhoe Loader
The
Caterpillar 430E backhoe loader was manufactured from 2006 to 2016. The Cat 430E
is powered by 268 cubic inches (4.4 L) Caterpillar 3054C DIT 4-cylinder direct
injection turbocharged diesel engine with a maximum power of 101 hp (75 kW) at
2200 rev/min.
The Cat 430E is fitted with two transmission options: 5x3 auto-shift
transmission, or power shuttle transmission with 4 forward and 4 reverse
gears. Max. forward and revers speed - 26.8 mph (43.2 km/h).
The closed center load sensing hydraulic system includes an axial piston
pump with rated capacity of 43 gpm (163 lpm). The hydraulic system
pressure is 249 bar (3611 psi). The 4WD models are equipped with
12.5/80-18 front tires and 21L-24 rear tires. The 11L-16 front tires and
19.5L-24 rear tires are used for 2WD models.
The front end loader has a lift capacity (at bucket pin) of 6323 lbs
(2870 kg) to max height of 11 ft 1 in (3368 mm), and breakout force
(bucket on ground) of 10130 lbs (4605 kg). The clearance with bucket
dumped is 8 ft 4 in (2550 mm) at maximum dump angle of 44 degrees. The
loader has a 95" (2400 mm) bucket with a rated capacity of 33.4 cu.ft
(0.95 m3).
The backhoe with extendable dipper arm has a maximum depth of 19 ft 6 in
(5951 mm), and 2-ft digging depth of 19 ft 5 in (5925 mm). The digging
force for bucket cylinder is 15680 lbs (7127 kg), and digging force for
dipper cylinder is 7197 lbs (3270 kg). The reach from swing pivot
(ground line) is 23 ft 9 in (7247 mm). The backhoe is compatible with
12", 16", 18", 24", 30", 36" standard material buckets, 12", 18", 24",
30", 36" heavy-duty rock buckets, and 18", 24", 30", 36" soil excavation
buckets.
