Massey Ferguson 550 Tractor
The
Massey Ferguson 550 is a 4x2 (2WD) row-crop tractor from 500-series. This model
was manufactured between 1977 and 1979. The MF 550 tractor is powered by 152
cubic inches (2.5 L) Perkins AD 3.152 four-stroke 3-cylinder direct injection
liquid-cooled diesel engine with a max output power of 47 Hp (35 kW) and 169 Nm
(125 lb-ft) of max torque at 1400 rev/min.
The Massey Ferguson is fitted with two transmission options: 8x2 gear
transmission and Multi Power transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse
gears. The maximum forward speed - 18.3 mph (29.4 kph), max. reverse
speed - 9.3 mph (15 kph).
The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with a rated capacity
of 9.5 gpm (36 lpm). The hydraulic system pressure is 138 bar (2000
psi). The Massey Ferguson 550 was equipped with 6.00x16 or 6.00x19 front
