Ford 555A Backhoe Loader
The
Ford 555A is a two-wheel drive backhoe loader. This model was manufactured
between 1984 and 1985. The Ford 555A is equipped with a 201 cu.in (3.3 L)
4-stroke 3-cylinder liquid-cooled naturally aspirated diesel engine with a rated
power of 63 Hp (47 kW) and 229 Nm (169 lb-ft) of max torque at 1400 rev/min.
The
Ford 555A is fitted with 2 transmission options: 4x4 transmission with single
stage torque converter type, and manual-reversing transmission with 6 forward
and 4 reverse gears. The max travel speed (forward and reverse): 17.4 mph (27.9
km/h) / 17.2 mph (27.6 km/h). The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump
