Ford 755 Backhoe Loader
The
Ford 755 backhoe loader was manufactured between 1979 and 1984. The Ford 755 is
equipped with a 268 cu.in (4.4L) 4-stroke four-cylinder turbocharged diesel
engine with a rated power of 97 hp (72.3 kW). The power-reversing transmission
includes a 3x3 synchronized gearbox and single-stage torque converter.
The maximum travel speed (forward/reverse): 18.5 mph (29.8 km/h). The
open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with rated fluid flow
of 28 gal/min (106 l/min). The hydraulic pressure is 162 bar (2350 psi).
The Ford 755 backhoe loader is fitted with 11.0x16 front tires and
16.9x28 rear tires.
The front end loader has a lifting capacity (at pin) of 5800 lb (2630
kg) to maximum height of 136" (3450 mm), and breakout force (bucket on
ground) of 13400 lb (6080 kg). The clearance with bucket dumped is 103"
(2610 mm) at maximum dump angle of 50 degrees. The estimated cycle times
are 5.6 seconds raising to full height, and 1.8 seconds to full bucket
dump. The 87" bucket has a nominal heaped capacity of 1.51 cu.yd (1.10
cu.m).
The backhoe has a bucket dig force of 11510 lb (5220 kg), and
dipperstick digging force of 7350 lb (3335 kg). The maximum digging
depth is 206.3" (5240 mm), and reach from swing pivot is 258.5" (6560
mm) at ground level. The backhoe can be equipped with 24", 30" and 36"
buckets.
