John Deere 310A Backhoe Loader
The
John Deere 310A is a two-wheel drive backhoe loader. This model was manufactured
from 1975 to 1982. The John Deere 310A is equipped with JD 4.219D 4-stroke
4-cylinder naturally aspirated liquid-cooled diesel engine. A 219 cubic inches
(3.6 L) engine has a cylinder bore of 4.02" (102 mm), piston stroke of 4.33"
(110 mm), and rated power of 62 hp (46.2 kW).
The Power Shuttle transmission consists of a dry clutch and gearbox with
8 forward and 8 reverse speeds. The maximum forward speed - 16.4 mph
(26.4 kph), maximum reverse speed - 26.4 mph (42.5 kph). The closed
center hydraulic system used a piston pump with a flow rate of 23
gal/min (87.4 l/min). The main relief pressure is 162 bar (2350 psi).
The John Deere 310A backhoe loader is fitted with a hydrostatic power
steering, wet disc brakes, 7.50x16 or 11Lx15 front tires, and 16.9x24 or
19.5Lx24 rear tires. The wheelbase is 81.9" (2070 mm).
The front end loader has a lifting capacity (at pin) of 5000 lbs (2270
kg) to maximum height of 129" (3270 mm), and bucket's breakout force of
7500 lbs (3400 kg). The bucket dump clearance is 105.5" (2670 mm) at
maximum dump angle of 50 degrees. The rated cycle times are 3.7 seconds
lifting to maximum height, and 1.3 seconds to full bucket dump. The 90"
(2275 mm) heavy-duty material bucket has a rated capacity of 35 cu.ft
(1.0 m3).
The backhoe has a bucket dig force of 9636 lbs (4370 kg) and dipper arm
dig force of 6350 lbs (2880 kg). The maximum digging depth is 175" (4440
mm), and reach from swing pivot is 208" (5280 mm) at ground level. The
backhoe is available with 12" (305 mm), 18" (455 mm), 24" (605 mm), 30"
(760 mm), or 36" (910 mm) buckets.
