John Deere 310D Backhoe Loader
The
John Deere 310D is a 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive backhoe loader. This model
was manufactured between 1991 and 1997. The John Deere 310D drivetrain consists
of a 239 cu.in (3.9L) John Deere 4039D 4-cycle 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel
engine, and 4x4 Collar Shift synchronized transmission with single stage torque
converter. The engine has a cylinder bore of 4.19" (106 mm), piston stroke of
4.33" (110 mm), and rated power of 70 hp (52.2 kW).
The maximum travel speed (forward/reverse): 20.8 mph (33.5 km/h) and
18.8 mph (30.3 km/h). The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump
with a flow of 38 gal/min (144 l/min). The hydraulic system pressure is
186 bar (2700 psi). The 2WD models are equipped with 7.50x16 front tires
and 16.9x24 rear tires. The 11Lx16 front tires and 17.5Lx24 rear tires
are used for 4WD tractors. The wheelbase is 83.8" (2120 mm).
The front end loader has a lifting capacity (at bucket pin) of 5700 lbs
(2590 kg) to maximum height of 131.6" (3330 mm), and breakout force of
9350 lbs (4250 kg). The bucket dump clearance is 108.3" (2740 mm) at max
dump angle of 45 degrees. The loader is compatible with 86" (2175 mm),
89" (2250 mm), 92" (2325 mm) buckets.
The backhoe with extendable stick has a 2-foot flat digging depth of
218.6" (5530 mm). The dipperstick digging force is 4550 lbs (2068 kg),
and bucket digging force is 11530 lbs (5240 kg). The overall reach from
swing pivot at ground level is 255.7" (6470 mm). The backhoe can be
fitted with 12" (305 mm), 16" (405 mm), 18" (455 mm), 24" (605 mm), 30"
(760 mm), or 36" (910 mm) buckets.
