Massey Ferguson 60 Backhoe Loader
The
Massey Ferguson 60 is a 2-wheel drive backhoe loader. The components of MF 60
powerline system: a 236 cubic inches (3.9L) Perkins A4.236 4-cycle 4-cylinder
direct injection liquid-cooled diesel engine, and 4x4 mechanical transmission
with single-stage torque converter. The engine engine has a cylinder bore of
3.88" (98.6 mm), piston stroke of 5.0" (127 mm), and rated power of 68 hp (50.4
kW).
The maximum forward speed - 17.5 mph (28.2 km/h), maximum reverse speed
- 17.5 mph (28.2 km/h). The open center hydraulic system used a gear
pump with a flow of 28 gpm (106 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 147 bar
(2125 psi). The Massey Ferguson 60 was fitted with 11.0x16 or 9.5x15
front tyres and 19.5x24 or 16.9x28 rear tyres. The wheelbase is 81.8
(2070).
The loader’s max lift height is 132" (3350 mm) at pin and clearance with
bucket dumped is 108" (2740 mm). The lift capacity is 5200 lbs (2358 kg)
at max height (bucket pin), and breakout force (bucket on ground) is
9000 lbs (4080 kg). The 88" (2230 mm) standard material bucket has a
nominal heaped capacity of 1 cu.yd (0.8 cu.m).
The backhoe operational data includes a bucket dig force of 11000 lbs
(4990 kg) and dipper arm digging force of 7412 lbs (3360 kg). The
digging depth at max value is 185.5" (4710 mm), and overall reach from
swing pivot is 226.6" (5750 mm) at ground level. The backhoe can be
equipped with 16" (405 mm), 18" (455 mm), 24" (605 mm), 30" (760 mm),
and 36" (910 mm) buckets.
