Kubota L48 Backhoe Loader
The
Kubota L48 tractor loader backhoe was manufactured from 2000 to 2009. The Kubota
L48 TLB is equipped with a 148.5 cubic inches (2.4 L) Kubota V2403 4-cylinder
indirect injection water-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 46 hp (34.3
kW), and 3-range hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse
gears.
The maximum travel speed (forward/reverse): 14.1 mph (22.5 km/h) and 14.2
mph (22.7 km/h). The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with
fluid flow rate of 25.9 gpm (98 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 2800 psi (193
bar). The Kubota L48 TLB is fitted with a hydrostatic power steering system, wet
disc brakes, 10x16.5 front tyres, and 17.5Lx24 rear tyres. The wheelbase is 74" (1880 mm).
The TL1150 front end loader has a lift capacity (at bucket pin) of 3000
lbs (1360 kg) to full height of 116.1" (2950 mm), and breakout force of
4375 lbs (1990 kg). A full dump clearance with a 45-degree max dump
angle is 88.8" (2255 mm). The rated cycle times are 4.2 seconds lifting
to maximum height, and 2.9 seconds full bucket dumping. The 72" (1820
mm) standard material bucket has a weight of 420 lbs (190 kg), and
nominal heaped capacity of 15.5 cu.ft (0.44 cu.m).
The BT1100 backhoe operational data includes a bucket dig force of 5908
lbs (2685 kg), and dipper arm dig force of 3968 lbs (1803 kg). The
digging depth at max value is 134.6" (3419 mm), and a reach from swing
pivot is 172.7" (4387 mm) at ground level. The backhoe can be equipped
with 12", 16", 18", 24", 30", and 36" buckets.
