Case IH 1494 Tractor
The
Case International 1494 is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor. This model was
manufactured from 1983 to 1988. The Case IH 1494 is powered by Case AD4.55T four
cycle 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with a maximum output power of 85 hp
(63.5 kW) and 296 Nm (218 lb-ft) of peak torque at 1600 rev/min.
The Case IH 1494 tractor was fitted with 2 transmission options: 12x4
Hydra-shift transmission, or synchromesh gear transmission with 12
forward and 4 reverse gears. The maximum forward speed - 17.1 mph (27.4
km/h), maximum reverse speed - 7.5 mph (12 km/h).
The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with flow rate of 15.3
gal/min (58 l/min). The hydraulic system pressure is 170 bar (2450 psi).
The 2-wheel drive models are equipped with 7.50x18 front tyres and
16.9x34 rear tyres. The 12.4x24 front tyres and 13.6x38 rear tyres fit
4-wheel drive tractors. The wheelbase is 88.5 inches (2240 mm).
