Case IH 7140 Magnum Specifications
The
Case IH Magnum 7140 row-crop tractor was manufactured between 1987 and 1993. The
tractor is powered by 505 cu.in (8.3 L) Case-International 6TA-830 6-cylinder
turbocharged diesel engine with a rated power of 238 hp (176.2 kW).
The Case IH Magnum 7140 is fitted with a 2 types of transmission. Type
1: Full powershift transmission with 18 forward and 2 reverse gears.
Type 2: Creeper transmission with 24 forward and 3 reverse gears. The
maximum travel speed (forward/reverse): 19.6 mph (31.5 kph) and 3 mph
(4.8 kph). The closed center hydraulic system has a piston pump with a
rated capacity of 22 gpm (83.3 lpm).
The hydraulic system pressure is 180 bar (2600 psi). The Case IH 7140
Magnum tractor is equipped with a hydrostatic power steering,
differential hydraulic wet disc brakes, 14L-16.1 (2WD) or 14.9R28 (4WD)
front tyres, and 18.4R42 rear tyres. The wheelbase is 118.3 in (3000
mm).
