Ford 3930 Tractor Maintenance
The
Ford 3930 utility tractor was manufactured from 1990 to 2002. The Ford 3930
tractor is powered by Ford vertical 3-cylinder direct injection liquid-cooled
diesel engine. The 201 cubic inches (3.3 L) engine has a cylinder bore of 4.4"
(112 mm), piston stroke of 4.4" (112 mm), and rated power of 51 hp (37.8 kW).
The Ford 3930 is fitted with 3 types of transmission. Type 1: 8x2
Dual-Range transmission. Type 2: 8x8 synchronized shuttle transmission.
Type 3: Dual Power transmission with 16 forward and 8 reverse gears. The
maximum forward speed - 18.5 mph (29.8 kph), maximum reverse speed - 8.9
mph (14.3 kph).
The open center hydraulic system used a pump with rated fluid flow of
7.7 gal/min (29.2 l/min). The hydraulic system pressure is 2500 psi (173
bar). The Ford 3930 was equipped with a power steering system,
differential wet disc brakes, 6.00x15 front tires, and 13.6x28 rear
tires. The wheel base is 84.5" (2140 mm) for models with 2WD and 84.1"
(2130 mm) for models with 4WD.
Compatible attachments for the tractor: Ford 7210 loader with a maximum
lift height of 124" (3140 mm), Ford 7310 loader with lift capacity to
max height of 2685 lbs (1217 kg), or Ford 7410 loader with lift capacity
to full height of 2500 lbs (1134 kg).
