International Harvester 1206
The
International Harvester 1206 is a two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive utility
tractor. This model was manufactured from 1967 to 1968. The IH 1206 tractor is
powered by International Harvester DT-361 six-cylinder direct injection
turbocharged diesel engine with a rated power of 122 Hp (90.4 kW) at 2400 rpm.
The International Harvester 1206 is fitted with 2 transmission options:
8x4 unsynchronized gear transmission and Torque Amplifier partial power
shift transmission with 16 forward and 8 reverse gears. The maximum
forward speed - 19.5 mph (31.4 kph), max. reverse speed - 9.5 mph (15.3
kph).
The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with fluid flow rate
of 12 gallons per minute (45.4 liters per minute). The IH 1206 was
equipped with a power assist steering, differential hydraulic disc
brakes, 7.50x16 front tires, and 18.4x38 rear tires. The wheelbase is
104.8 inches (2650 mm).
