International Harvester 1455
The
International Harvester 1455 is a 4x4 (4WD) farm tractor. This model was
manufactured from 1979 to 1981. The International Harvester 1455 tractor is
powered by IH DT402 six-cylinder direct injection turbocharged diesel engine. A
402 cubic inches (6.6 L) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.94" (100 mm), piston
stroke of 5.50" (140 mm), rated power of 145 hp (108.2 kW), and max torque of
528.8 Nm (390.6 lb-ft) at 1600 rpm.
The International Harvester 1455 is fitted with two transmission
options: ZF T-3450 fully synchronized transmission with 12 forward and 5
reverse gears, or ZF T-3450 HD fully synchronized transmission with 16
forward and 7 reverse gears. The maximum forward speed - 15.2 mph (24.5
kph), max. reverse speed - 13.6 mph (21.9 kph).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with rated
capacity of 13.2 gpm (50 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 172 bar (2500
psi). The International Harvester 1455 was equipped with a hydrostatic
power steering, wet dics brakes, 14.9x28 front tires, and 20.8x38 rear
tires. The wheel base is 110.7 inches (2800 mm). The wheelbase is 110.2
(2790).
