International Harvester 886
The
International Harvester 886 row crop tractor was manufactured from 1976 to 1981.
The IH 886 tractor is equipped with a 360 cu.in (5.9L) International Harvester
D-360 4-stroke 6-cylinder naturally aspirated water-cooled diesel engine with a
rated power of 95 hp (70.4 kW), or 358 cu.in (5.9L) International Harvester
D-358 4-stroke 6-cylinder naturally aspirated water-cooled diesel engine with a
rated power of 94.5 hp (70.1 kW).
The Torque Amplifier transmission includes a dry clutch and two-speed
powershift gearbox with 16 forward and 8 reverse gears. The maximum
forward speed - 19.1 mph (30.7 km/h), maximum reverse speed - 9.4 mph
(15.1 km/h).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with a rated
capacity of 15 gpm (56.8 lpm). The IH 886 is equipped with a hydrostatic
power steering, hydraulic wet disc brakes, 10.00x16 front tires, and
18.4x38 rear tires. The wheelbase is 105 in (2660 mm) for 2WD models, 99
in (2510 mm) for 4WD models, and 101 in (2560 mm) for tricycle models.
