John Deere 2450 is a 2WD/4WD farm utility tractor. This model was manufactured between 1987
and 1994. The tractor is powered by JD 4239-DL 4 stroke four-cylinder
direct injection liquid-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 70.0 hp (52.3
kw) and 189 lb-ft (255 Nm) of peak torque at 1500 rpm.
The John Deere 2450

is fitted with 2 types of transmission. 1st type: 16x8 two-speed powershift
transmission. 2nd type: partially synchronized transmission with 8 forward and 4
reverse gears. Max. forward speed - 18.6 mph (29.9 kph), maximum reverse speed -
8.1 mph (13.0 kph).
The closed center constant pressure hydraulic system used a
piston pump with a rated capacity of 11.6 gpm (44 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 190
bar (2755 psi). The 4-wheel drive models are equipped with 11.2x28 front tires and
13.6x38 rear tires. The 7.5x18 front tires and 13.6x38 rear tires are used for
tractors with 2-wheel drive. The wheelbase is 89.2" (2260 mm) for 2WD models and
90" (2280 mm) for 4WD models.
