John Deere 2640 Tractor
The
John Deere 2640 is a 2040-series utility tractor. This model was manufactured
from 1976 to 1982. The components of JD 2640 powerline system: John Deere 4
Cycle 4-cylinder diesel engine and a 8x4 collar shift transmission, or 2-Speed
powershift transmission with 16 forward and 8 reverse gears.
A 276 cubic inches engine output rating is 77 hp (57 kW) at 2500
rev/min. The maximum forward speed - 17.3 mph (27.8 kph), max. reverse
speed - 6.9 mph (11.1 kph). The closed center hydraulic system includes
a piston pump with flow rate of 13 gpm (49.2 lpm). The hydraulic system
