Kubota B6000 Maintenance
The
Kubota B6000 sub compact utility tractor was manufactured between 1973 and 1977.
This model was designed in two versions: B6000E (2WD) and B6000D (4WD). The
Kubota B6000 tractor is equipped with a 35.2 cu.in (577 cc) Kubota ZL600
vertical two-cylinder naturally aspirated water-cooled diesel engine with a
rated power of 12.5 hp (9.3 kW) and 32.9 Nm (24.4 lb-ft) of maximum torque at
2000 rpm.
The manual shift transmission consists of a dry single plate clutch and
unsynchronized gearbox with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears. Max. travel
speed (forward and reverse): 7.7 mph (12.5 kph) / 4.2 mph (6.7 kph). The
open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with a rated capacity
of 2.8 gpm (10.8 lpm).
The main relief pressure is 83 bar (1200 psi). The 2WD models are
equipped with 4.00x9 front tires and 7.00x16 rear tires. The 6.00x12 or
20x8.00-10 front tires and 7.00x16 or 27x8.50-15 rear tires are used for
4WD tractors. The wheel base is 47.2" (1200 mm) for models with 2-wheel
drive and 45.5" (1160 mm) for models with 4-wheel drive.
