Kubota L225 Maintenance
The
Kubota L225 is a 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive compact utility tractor. This
model was manufactured from 1974 to 1976. The Kubota L225 tractor is equipped
with a 68.3 cubic inches (1.1 L) Kubota D1100A vertical four stroke
three-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engine.
The engine has a cylinder bore of 3.02" (76 mm), piston stroke of 3.25"
(82 mm), and rated power of 22.5 hp (16.7 kW). The transmission includes
a dry clutch and sliding mesh gearbox with 8 forward and 2 reverse
gears. Max. forward speed - 13.1 mph (21 km/h), max. reverse speed - 9
mph (14.5 km/h).
The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with fluid flow rate
of 3.7 gal/min (14.1 l/min). The main relief pressure is 117 bar (1700
psi). The Kubota L225 was equipped with a manual steering system,
differential mechanical expanding shoe brakes, 4.00x15 front tires, and
9.5x24 rear tires. The wheel base is 60.3" (1530 mm). The tractor is
compatible with Kubota L1200 front end loader.
