Kubota L245 Maintenance
The
Kubota L245 is a L-series compact utility tractor. This model was manufactured
from 1976 to 1985. The L245 tractor is equipped with Kubota D1101-A vertical
4-cycle 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine rated at 25 hp (18.6 kW) and 68.3
cubic inches (1.12 L) displacement.
The transmission consists of a dry plate clutch and gearbox with 8
forward and 2 reverse gears. Max. forward speed - 11.9 mph (19.1 km/h),
maximum reverse speed - 5.8 mph (9.3 km/h). The open center hydraulic
system used a gear pump with flow rate of 3.7 gpm (14 lpm).
The hydraulic pressure is 2000 psi (138 bar). The 4-wheel drive L245DT
tractors are equipped with 5.00x15 front tyres and 11.2x28 rear tyres.
The 5.00x15 front tyres and 11.2x24 rear tyres fit two wheel drive
models. The wheelbase is 63 inches (1600 mm) for 2WD models and 61.2
inches (1550 mm) for 4WD models. The L245 and L245DT tractors are
compatible with a Kubota L1200 front end loader.
