The
Kubota M4050 is a 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive (M4050DT) utility tractor. This
model was manufactured from 1982 to 1985. The components of Kubota M4050
powerline system: a 158.6 cubic inches (2.6 L) Kubota S2600 4-cycle 6-cylinder
liquid-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 48 hp (35.8 kW), and constant
mesh transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears. The maximum travel speed
(forward/reverse): 14.9 mph (23.9 km/h) and 7 mph (11.2 km/h). The open center
hydraulic system includes a gear pump with rated fluid flow of 9.25 gal/min (35
l/min).
The 2WD models are equipped with 6.00x16 front tires and 13.6x28 rear tires. The 8.30x20 front tires and 13.6x28 rear tires are used for 4WD tractors. The wheelbase is 78.1" (1980 mm) for 2WD models, and 80" (2030 mm) for 4WD models. The Kubota M4050 tractor is compatible with Kubota M1830 front-end loader with a lift capacity to full height of 1990 lbs (902 kg) and breakout force of 2750 (1247 kg).
