Kubota M4500 Tractor
The
Kubota M4500 is a 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive utility tractor. This model was
manufactured between 1978 and 1985. The tractor was designed in 2 versions:
M4500DT (4WD) and M4500-OC (Orchard).
The Kubota M4500 is equipped with a 158.6 cubic inches (2.6L) Kubota
S2600 4-stroke 6-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine. The engine has a
cylinder bore of 3.23" (82 mm), piston stroke of 3.23" (82 mm), and
maximum power of 55.5 hp (41.4 kW). The transmission consists of a dry
clutch and partially synchronized gearbox with 16 forward and 4 reverse
gears.
The maximum forward speed - 15.8 mph (25.4 km/h), max. reverse speed -
7.4 mph (11.9 km/h). The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump
with rated capacity of 7.3 gpm (27.6 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is
171.5 bar (2485 psi). The Kubota M4500 was equipped with a power assist
steering system, differential mechanical wet disc brakes, 6.00-16 (2WD)
or 8.30-20 (4WD) front tires, and 14.9-28 rear tires. The wheelbase is
78.2 in (1980 mm).
