Mahindra 4540 Tractor
The
Mahindra 4540 utility tractor was manufactured between 2014 and 2022. The
Mahindra 4540 driveline consists of 4-cycle 4-cylinder direct injection
naturally aspirated water-cooled diesel engine and 8x2 sliding mesh
transmission. A 166.7 cubic inches (2.7 L) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.5"
(89 mm), piston stroke of 4.33" (110 mm), and rated power of 41 Hp (30.5 kW).
The maximum forward speed - 19 mph (30.5 km/h), maximum reverse speed - 9 mph
(14.5 km/h).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with rated fluid flow of 8.7 gpm (33 lpm). The Mahindra 4540 is equipped with a hydrostatic power steering system, dry disc brakes, 6.00x16 (2WD) or 9.50x16 (4WD) front tyres, and 12.4x28 (2WD) or 13.6x28 (4WD) rear tyres. The tractor is compatible with Mahindra 4550L front end-loader with a maximum lift height of 116.6" (2960 mm), and Mahindra 4550B backhoe with maximum digging depth of 101" (2560 mm).
