Massey Ferguson 1740M Tractor
The
Massey Ferguson 1740M is a 4-wheel drive (4x4) compact utility tractor. This
model was manufactured from 2018. The Massey Ferguson 1740M tractor is powered
by Shibaura N4LDI-T 4-cycle direct 3-cylinder direct injection turbocharged
diesel engine. A 101.4 cubic inches (1.7L) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.31"
(84 mm), piston stroke of 3.94" (100 mm), and rated power of 40 hp (29.8 kW).
The Massey Ferguson 1740M is fitted with two types of transmission. 1st
type: power shuttle transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears.
2nd type: 3-range hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and
reverse gears. The maximum travel speed (forward/reverse): 17.5 mph (28
km/h). The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with fluid flow
rate of 12.1 gal/min (45.6 l/min). The hydraulic system pressure is 160
bar (2320 psi).
The tractor is equipped with a power steering system, internal wet disc
brakes, 27x8.50-15 (Turf) or 8.00x16 (AG) front tires, and 41x14.00-20
(Turf) or 12.4x24 (AG) rear tires. The wheel base is 69.7" (1770 mm).
Compatible attachments for the Massey Ferguson 1740M tractor: a 72"
mid-mount 3-blade mower deck with cutting height of 1.5-5.0" (37-125
mm), MF DL125 loader lift capacity to max height of 1840 lbs (835 kg),
or MF CB75 backhoe with maximum digging depth of 92" (2330 mm).
