Massey Ferguson 2805 Tractor
The
Massey Ferguson 2805 row-crop tractor was manufactured from 1978 to 1983. The
Massey Ferguson 2805 tractor is powered by Perkins ATV8.640 8-cylinder direct
injection turbocharged diesel engine. A 640 cubic inches (10.5L) engine has a
cylinder bore of 4.63" (118 mm), piston stroke of 4.75" (121 mm), and rated
power of 211 hp (156.3 kW).
The Massey Ferguson 2805 is fitted with two transmission options: Multi
Power 3-speed powershift transmission with 24 forward and 6 reverse
gears, or mechanical shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 6 reverse
gears. The maximum forward speed - 20.4 mph (32.8 kph), maximum reverse
speed - 9.8 mph (15.8 kph). The open center hydraulic system includes a
gear pump with a rated capacity of 16.5 gpm (62.5 lpm) using high
pressure and 6.4 gpm (24.2 lpm) using low pressure.
The hydraulic system capacity is 30 gal (113.6 l). The Massey Ferguson
2805 was equipped with 11.0x16 front tires and 20.8x38 rear tires. The
wheelbase is 110" (2790 mm). Compatible attachments for the tractor:
Massey Ferguson 246 loader with maximum lift height of 156" (3960 mm)
and lift capacity of 4500 lbs (2040 kg).
