Massey Ferguson 399 Tractor
The
Massey Ferguson 399 is a 300 series utility tractor. This model was manufactured
from 1987 to 1991. The Massey Ferguson 399 tractor is equipped with a Perkins
A6.354.4 four-cycle six-cylinder direct injection liquid-cooled diesel engine.
A 354 cu.in (5.8L) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.88" (98 mm), piston
stroke of 5" (127 mm), maximum power of 122 hp (91 kW), and max torque
of 384 Nm (283 lb-ft) at 1400 rpm. The transmission includes a dry
single clutch and synchromesh gearbox with 12 forward and 4 reverse
gears.
The maximum forward speed - 18.2 mph (29.3 kph), maximum reverse speed -
9.9 mph (15.9 kph). The hydraulic system has a linkage pump with a rated
capacity of 7.2 gpm (27.3 lpm) and auxiliary pump with a rated capacity
of 9.5 gpm (36 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 207 bar (3000 psi).
The Massey Ferguson 399 is equipped with a hydrostatic power steering,
wet disc brakes, 7.50-18 (2WD) or 14.9-24 (4WD) front tires, and 18.4-34
rear tires. The wheel base is 101.4" (2570 mm) for models with 2-wheel
drive and 103.7" (2630 mm) for models with 4-wheel drive. The tractor is
compatible with a Massey Ferguson 246 front-end loader with lift
capacity to max height of 3500 lbs (1587 kg) and breakout force of 4800
lbs (2175 kg).
