Massey Ferguson 4245 Tractor
The
Massey Ferguson 4245 is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from 4200 series. This
model was manufactured between 1998 and 2001. The Massey Ferguson 4245 tractor
is powered by 244 cu.in (4 L) Perkins 1004.4T 4-stroke 4-cylinder direct
injection turbocharged diesel engine with a rated power of 89 hp (66.2 kW) and
311 Nm (230 lb-ft) of peak torque at 1500 rev/min.
The Massey Ferguson 4245 is fitted with four transmission options: 12x12
mechanical shuttle transmission, 18x6 speedshift transmission, 12x12
powershuttle transmission, or 24x24 powershuttle transmission. Max.
forward speed - 24.7 mph (39.8 km/h), max. reverse speed - 24.7 mph
(39.8 km/h). The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with
fluid flow rate of 10 gpm (37.8 lpm). The main relief pressure is 210
bar (3050 psi).
The 2-wheel drive models are equipped with 10.00-16 front tires and
16.9R34 rear tires. The 13.6R24 front tires and 16.9R34 rear tires are
used for tractors with 4-wheel drive. The wheel base is 92.5" (2340 mm).
The MF 4245 tractor is compatible with a Massey Ferguson 1036 front-end
loader with lift capacity to full height of 3755 lbs (1703 kg) and
breakout force of 6900 lbs (3129 kg).
