Massey Ferguson 6260 Tractor
The
Massey Ferguson 6260 is a 2WD or 4WD row-crop tractor. This model was
manufactured from 1999 to 2003. The Massey Ferguson 6260 powerline components: a
365 cu.in (6L) Perkins 1006-60 six-cylinder direct injection naturally aspirated
diesel engine with a rated power of 114 hp (85 kW), and 32x32 Dynashift 4-speed
powershift transmission or 32x32 Dyna Shuttle transmission.
The engine has a lubrication system with gear type pump, cooling system
with centrifugal pump pressurised radiator, and air cleaner with
two-stage dry element. Max. forward speed - 25 mph (40 km/h), max.
reverse speed - 25 mph (40 km/h). The open center hydraulic system has a
pump capacity of 15 gpm (57 lpm). The closed center pressure flow
compensated has a pump capacity of 29.2 gpm (110 lpm). The hydraulic
pressure is 200 bar (2900 psi).
The Massey Ferguson 6260 is equipped with a hydrostatic steering system,
telescopic steering column, independent hydraulic wet disc brakes,
14.9R28 front tires, and 18.4R38 rear tires. The wheelbase is 106.5"
(2700 mm). The tractor is compatible with a Massey Ferguson 1080
front-end loader with lift capacity to full height of 6400 lbs (2903 kg)
and bucket width of 96" (2430 mm).
