Massey Ferguson 8120 Tractor
The
Massey Ferguson 8120 row crop tractor was manufactured from 1995 to 1999. The
Massey Ferguson 8120 tractor is equipped with a 365 cu.in (6L) Perkins 1006-6
four-stroke six-cylinder direct injection liquid-cooled turbocharged diesel
engine. The engine has a cylinder bore of 3.94" (100 mm), piston stroke of 5.00"
(127 mm), rated power of 145 hp (108.2 kW), and maximum torque of 588 Nm (436
lb-ft) at 1400 rev/min.
The Dynashift transmission consists of a 6-disc wet clutch with disc
diameter of 9.06" (230 mm) and 4-speed powershift gearbox with 32
forward and 32 reverse gears. The maximum forward speed - 24.8 mph (40.1
kph) mph, maximum reverse speed - 24.8 mph (40.1 kph). The Massey
Ferguson 8120 can be equipped with two types of hydraulic systems. The
closed center hydraulic system with flow and pressure control used a
variable displacement pump with fluid flow rate of 42.3 gpm (160 lpm).
The hydraulic pressure is 180 bar (2600 psi).
The open center hydraulic system used a two-stage gear pump with fluid
flow rate of 14.2 gpm (54 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 185 bar (2685
psi). The 2-wheel drive models are equipped with 11.00x16 front tires
and 16.9x38 rear tires. The 14.9x28 front tires and 20.8x38 rear tires
are used for tractors with 4-wheel drive. The wheelbase is 110" (2775
mm) for 4x2 (2WD) models and 109" (2760 mm) for 4x4 (4WD) models.
