Case IH 385 Tractor
The
Case IH 385 is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from 85-series. This model was
manufactured between 1985 and 1990. The Case IH 385 tractor is powered by D-155
3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine with operating power of 46 hp (34.3
kilowatt) and 162 Nm (119 lb-ft) of peak torque at 1650 rev/min.
The IH 385 is fitted with three types of transmission. 1st type: 8x4
synchromesh transmission. 2nd type: 8x8 power shuttle transmission. Type
3: partial powershift transmission with 16 forward and 8 reverse gears.
The max. travel speed (forward/reverse): 15.6 mph (25 km/h) and 18.9 mph
(30.4 km/h).
The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with a rated fluid
flow of 11.3 gpm (42.8 lpm). The main relief pressure is 2500 psi (172
bar). The 4WD models are equipped with 8.3x24 front tires and 14.9x28
rear tires. The 6.00x16 front tires and 13.6x28 rear tires are used for
2WD tractors. The wheelbase is 79" (2000 mm) for models with 2-wheel
drive (4x2) and 79.8" (2020 mm) for models with 4-wheel drive (4x4).
