Ford 2610 Tractor Maintenance

Ford 2610 is a 2WD utility tractor from 10 Utility series. This model was
manufactured between 1982 and 1983. The Ford 2610 tractor is powered by Ford
vertical 3-cylinder water cooled naturally aspirated diesel engine.
A 175 cubic inches (2.9 L) engine has a cylinder bore of 4.2" (107 mm),
piston stroke of 4.2" (107 mm), and maximum power of 42.5 hp (31.7 kW).
The Ford 2610 was fitted with two transmission options: 8x2 Dual-Range
transmission or synchromesh transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse
gears. The maximum travel speed (forward/reverse): 19.1 mph (30.7 kph)
and 8.8 mph (14.2 kph).
The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with rated fluid flow
of 8.5 gal/min (32.1 l/min). The hydraulic pressure is 2500 psi (173
bar). The Ford 2610 is equipped with a power assist steering, mechanical
drum brakes, 5.50x16 or 6.50x16 front tires, and 11.4x28 or 16.9x24 rear
tires. The wheel base is 75.8" (1920 mm).
Compatible attachments for the tractor: Ford 730 loader with lift
capacity to max height of 2040 lbs (925 kg), Ford 776A loader with lift
capacity to max height of 2500 lbs (1134 kg), and
Ford 776B loader with
breakout force of 3750 lbs (1701 kg).
