Ford 4610 Tractor Maintenance
The
Ford 4610 utility tractor was manufactured from 1981 to 1989. The Ford 4610 is
powered by Ford vertical 3-cylinder water cooled diesel engine with a maximum
output power of 63 hp (47 kW) and 229 Nm (169 lb-ft) of peak torque at 1400 rpm.
A 201 cubic inches (3.3L) engine has a cylinder bore of 4.4" (112 mm),
piston stroke of 4.4" (112 mm), and 15.3:1 compression ratio. The Ford
4610 is fitted with 2 transmission options: 8x2 Dual range gear
transmission, or synchromesh transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse
gears. The maximum forward speed - 18.8 mph (30.2 kph), maximum reverse
speed - 8.1 (13 kph).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with a flow rate
of 8.5 gpm (32.2 lpm). The main relief pressure is 185 bar (2600 psi).
The 4-wheel drive models are equipped with 8.30x24 or 9.50x24 front
tyres and 14.9x28 rear tyres. The 7.50x16 or 7.50x18 front tyres and
11.2x24 rear tyres fit 4-wheel drive tractors.
The wheelbase is 84.5" (2140 mm) for models with 2WD (4x2) and 84.1"
(2130 mm) for models with 4WD (4x4). The Ford 4610 tractor is compatible
with a Ford 776B Loader with a maximum lift height of 124 in (3140 mm),
and Ford 7209 loader with a maximum lift height of 110 in (2790 mm).
