Kubota L3830 Maintenance
The
Kubota L3830 is a two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive compact utility tractor
from L30-series. This model was manufactured between 2003 and 2007. The tractor
was designed in 3 versions: L3830F (2WD), L3830DT (4WD, 8-speed), and L3830HST
(4WD, hydro).
The Kubota L3830 is powered by Kubota D1803 vertical 3-cylinder indirect
injection water-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 37.4 hp (27.9
kW) and 120.7 Nm (89 lb-ft) of peak torque at 1600 rpm. The Kubota L3830
is fitted with two transmission options: 8x8 (16x16 w/creeper) Sync
Shuttle fully synchronized transmission, or 3-range hydrostatic
transmission. The maximum forward speed - 17.9 mph (28.8 kph), max.
reverse speed - 14.9 mph (24 kph).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with rated fluid
flow of 8.3 gpm (31.5 lpm). The hydraulic system pressure is 177 bar
(2560 psi). The Kubota L3830 was equipped with a hydrostatic power
steering system, wet disc brakes, 6.00x16 (2WD) or 8.00x16 (4WD) front
tires, and 13.6x24 rear tires. The wheelbase is 72.6 (1840) for 2WD
models and 72.4 (1830) for 4WD models. The tractor is compatible with a
Kubota LA723 loader with 72" (1820 mm) bucket and lift capacity to full
height of 1870 lbs (848 kg).
