The
Mahindra 6000 is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor. This model was manufactured from
2001 to 2008. The Mahindra 6000 tractor is powered by 194.7 cu.in (3.2 L) NE457R
four-cycle four-cylinder vertical direct injection liquid-cooled diesel engine
with a rated power of 59 Hp (44 kW). The Mahindra 6000 is fitted with a two
transmission options: constant mesh transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse
gears, or synchomesh shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse gears.
The maximum travel speed (forward/reverse): 19.2 mph (30.9 km/h) and 19.5 mph (31.4 km/h). The open center hydraulic system has a gear pump with a rated capacity of 11 gpm (41.7 lpm). The 2-wheel drive models are equipped with 9.5Lx15 front tires and 16.9x28 rear tires. The 11.2x24 front tires and 16.9x28 rear tires are used for 4-wheel drive tractors. Compatible attachments for the tractor: Mahindra ML260 front end-loader with a lift capacity to full height of 2400 lbs (1090 kg), or Mahindra ML265 front end-loader with a lift capacity to full height of 3150 lbs (1430 kg).
