Ford 1210 Tractor Maintenance
The
Ford 1210 is a 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive compact utility tractor from Ten
Compact series. This model was manufactured by Shibaura built between 1983 and
1986. The Ford 1210 is powered by 53.6 cu.in (0.88 L) Shibaura S723 3-cylinder
liquid cooled diesel engine with a maximum power of 16.1 Hp (11.9 kW).
The Ford 1210 is fitted with 3 types of transmission. Type 1: 10x2
unsynchronized transmission with high and low sliding gears. Type 2:
15x3 creeper transmission. Type 3: 2-range hydrostatic transmission with
infinite forward and reverse gears. Max. forward speed - 10.2 mph (16.4
kph), reverse speed - 10.2 mph (16.4 kph).
The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with rated fluid flow
of 4.3 gal/min (16.5 l/min). The hydraulic pressure is 127 bar (1850
psi). The Ford 1210 was equipped with 4.00-12 (2WD), 5.00-12 (4WD), or
20x8.0-10 (Turf) front tires, and 8.00-16 or 29x12.0-15 (Turf) rear
tires. The wheelbase is 55.1" (1390 mm).
Compatible attachments for the tractor: 48", 60" mid-mount 3-blade mower
decks, 48" rear-mount 3-blade mower deck with hydraulic lift, 48"
rear-mount two-stage snowblower, Ford 768A loader with lift capacity to
full height of 530 lbs (240 kg), and Ford 757A backhoe with max digging
depth of 76.5" (1940 mm).
