Ford 1700 Tractor Maintenance
The
Ford 1700 is a compact utility tractor from Hundred compact series. This model
was manufactured by Shibaura built between 1979 and 1982. The Ford 1700
powertrain system components: Shibaura LE892 two-cylinder liquid cooled diesel
engine and gear transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse gears.
A 77.6 cu.in (1.3 L) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.54 in (90 mm),
piston stroke of 3.94 in (100 mm), and rated power of 25 hp (18.6 kW).
Max. travel speed (forward/reverse): 12.3 mph (19.8 kph) and 8.6 mph
(13.8 kph).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with rated fluid
flow of 7.8 gal/min (29.5 l/min). The hydraulic pressure is 127 bar
(1850 psi). The two-wheel drive models are equipped with 5.00x15 front
tyres and 11.2-24 rear tyres. The 20x8.00-10 front tyres and 13.6-16
rear tyres fit four-wheel drive tractors. The wheelbase is 60.2 in (1520
mm) for 2WD models and 59.3 in (1500 mm) for 4WD models.
The Ford 1700 is compatible with a 60" mid-mount 3-blade mower deck, 60"
front-mount snowblower, Ford 770 loader with a lifting capacity to max
height of 700 lbs (317 kg), and Ford 770A loader with a lifting
capacity to max height of 600 lbs (272 kg).
