Ford 7000 Tractor Maintenance
The
Ford 7000 is a 2-wheel drive utility tractor. This model was manufactured from
1971 to 1975. The Ford 7000 tractor is powered by Ford 256 four-cylinder
water-cooled diesel engine with a maximum power of 89 hp (66 kW) and 324 Nm (240
lb-ft) of max torque at 1600 rev/min.
The Ford 7000 is equipped with two transmission options: 8x2 Dual-Range
constant mesh transmission, and Dual-Power transmission with 16 forward
and 4 reverse gears. Max. travel speed (forward and reverse): 18.6 mph
(30 km/h) / 8.9 mph (14.4 km/h).
The open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with fluid flow rate
of 6 gal/min (22.7 l/min). The hydraulic pressure is 172.5 bar (2500
psi). The Ford 7000 tractor was fitted with 7.50x15 or 7.50x16 front
tires and 13.6x38 or 15.5x38 rear tires. The wheelbase is 87.5" (2220
mm). The tractor can be equipped with Ford 772 front end loader. The
loader has a lift capacity to maximum height of 2500 lbs (1134 kg) and
breakout force of 4000 (1814 kg).
