John Deere 3130 Maintenance
The
John Deere 3130 is a 2WD or 4WD farm tractor. This model was manufactured from
1973 to 1979. The JD 3130 tractor is powered by John Deere 6.329D 4-cycle
six-cylinder liquid cooled diesel engine with maximum output power of 96 hp
(71.1 kilowatt) and 310.5 Nm (229 lb-ft) of peak torque at 1210 rpm.
The John Deere 3130 is fitted with 2 transmission options: Hi-Lo
transmission with 12 forward and 6 reverse gears, and 6x3 sliding gear
transmission. Max. forward speed - 15.4 mph (27.4 km/h), maximum reverse
speed - 5.2 mph (8.3 km/h).
The closed center hydraulic system used a piston pump with fluid flow
rate of 23 gpm (87 lpm). The rear lift capacity is 7450 lbs (3380 kg)
at lift pin. The 4x4 models are equipped with 12.4x24 front tyres and
16.9x38 rear tyres. The 7.50x18 front tyres and 18.4x34 rear tyres fit
4x2 tractors. The wheelbase is 96.9" (2455 mm). The tractor is
compatible with JD 148 front end loader. The loader has 5ft, 6ft, 7ft
and 8ft buckets and lift capacity to full height of 3100 lbs (1406 kg).
