Kubota L2900 Maintenance
The
Kubota L2900 is a Grand L-series compact utility tractor. This model was
manufactured from 1994 to 1999. The L2900 tractor is powered by Kubota D1503
4-cycle vertical three-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine with max. output
power of 30.5 (22.8) Hp and 90 Nm (67 lb-ft) of max torque at 2300 rev/min.
The Kubota L2900 fitted with 2 transmission options: 8x8 synchronized
shuttle transmission, or power shuttle GST transmission with 8 forward
and 8 reverse gears. Max. forward speed - 15.3 mph (24.6 kph), maximum
reverse speed - 14.1 mph (22.7 kph).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with fluid flow
rate of 7 gallons per minute (26.5 l/min). The hydraulic pressure is
2490 psi (172 bar). The 2WD models are equipped with 5.00x15 front tires
and 11.2x24 rear tires. The 7.20x16 front tires and 11.2x24 rear tires
are used for 4WD tractors. The wheel base is 65.9" (1670 mm) for 2-wheel
drive models and 65.7" (1660 mm) for 4-wheel drive models. The L2900
tractor can be equipped with the following attachments: Kubota RC72-29
mower deck, Kubota LA481 front end loader, and Kubota BL4690 backhoe.
