New Holland TC40 Tractor
The
New Holland TC40 compact utility tractor was manufactured from 2001 to 2003. The
New Holland TC40 powertrain system components: a 121.7 cu.in (2L) Shibaura N844
vertical 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine and synchronized shuttle shift
transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears.
The engine has a cylinder bore of 3.31" (84 mm), piston stroke of 3.54"
(90 mm), and rated power of 40 hp (29.8 kW). The maximum forward speed -
16.5 mph (26.4 km/h), maximum reverse speed - 18.5 mph (29.6 km/h). The
open center hydraulic system used a gear pump with a rated capacity of
9.8 gal/min (37.1 l/min).
The hydraulic pressure is 157 bar (2275 psi). The 2WD models are
equipped with 7.5Lx15 front tyres and 13.6x24 rear tyres. The 8.00x16
front tyres and 14.9x24 rear tyres fit 4WD tractors. The wheelbase is
73.5 in (1867 mm) for 2-wheel drive models and 81 in (2057 mm) for
4-wheel drive models. The tractor is compatible with a
New Holland 16LA
loader with a lift capacity to maximum height of 2000 lbs (907 kg), or
New Holland 17LA loader with a lift capacity to maximum height of 1955
lbs (886 kg).
