New Holland TC40D Tractor
The
New Holland TC40D is a Boomer TC-series compact utility tractor. This model was
manufactured from 2001 to 2003. The components of New Holland TC40D powerline
system: Shibaura N844 4-stroke 4-cylinder indirect injection naturally aspirated
liquid-cooled diesel engine and 4-range Dual Power hydrostatic transmission with
infinite forward and reverse gears.
A 121.7 cu.in (2L) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.31" (84 mm), piston
stroke of 3.54" (90 mm), and rated power of 40 hp (29.8 kW). The maximum
travel speed (forward and reverse): 13.6 mph (21.9 km/h). The open
center hydraulic system used a gear pump with a flow of 9.8 gal/min
(37.1 l/min). The hydraulic pressure is 160 bar (2275 psi). The New
Holland TC40D is equipped with a power steering system, wet disc brakes,
25x8.50-14 (2WD) or 27x8.50-15 (4WD) front tires, and 44x18-20 (2WD) or
22.5LLx16.1 (4WD) rear tires.
The wheel base is 73.6" (1870 mm) with 2WD/4WD and 81" (2060 mm) with
SuperSteer axle. The tractor is compatible with the following
attachments: a New Holland 16LA front end loader with lift capacity to
maximum height of 2000 lbs (907 kg), New Holland 17LA front end loader
with lift capacity to maximum height of 1760 lbs (800 kg).
