Ford 2000 Tractor Maintenance
The
Ford 2000 is a 2WD (4x2) utility tractor. This model was manufactured from 1965
to 1975. The 2000 tractor is powered by Ford 2.6L vertical 3-cylinder water
cooled gasoline, or diesel engine with a maximum output power of 36 Hp (26.8 kW) at
2000 rpm.
The Ford 2000 fitted with 4 transmission options: 4-speed range
transmission, 12x3 gear transmission, 6-speed range transmission, and
8x2 gear transmission. All transmissions have unsynchronized gears.
The maximum forward speed - 22 mph (35.4 km/h), max. reverse speed - 8.4 mph
(13.5 km/h).
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with fluid flow
rate of 4 gpm (15 lpm). The hydraulic system pressure is 2500 psi. The Ford
2000 tractor is equipped with 5.5x16 front tyres and 11.2x28 rear tyres.
The wheel base is 75.8 inches (1920 mm). Compatible front end loaders
for the Ford 2000 tractor: 771 loader with a lift capacity to
max height of 1800 lbs (816 kg), or 772 loader with a lift capacity to
max height of 2500 lbs
(1134 kg).
