Kubota MX5000 Maintenance
The
Kubota MX5000 utility tractor was manufactured between 2002 and 2008. This model
was designed in two versions: MX5000F (2WD) and MX5000DT (4WD). The Kubota
MX5000 tractor is equipped with a 148.5 cu.in (2.4L) Kubota V2403 4-cycle
vertical 4-cylinder indirect injection naturally aspirated liquid-cooled diesel
engine.
The engine has a cylinder bore of 3.43" (87 mm), piston stroke of 4.04"
(102 mm), and rated power of 52.2 hp (38.9 kW). The gear shift
transmission includes a dry clutch and partially synchronized gearbox
with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears. The maximum forward speed - 16.4 mph
(26.5 kph), maximum reverse speed - 5.8 mph (9.3 kph). The open center
hydraulic system used a gear pump with fluid flow rate of 9.2 gpm (34.8
lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 175 bar (2530 psi).
The 2-wheel drive models are equipped with 7.5L-15 front tires and
14.9-26 rear tires. The 9.50-16 front tires and 14.9-26 rear tires are
used for tractors with 4-wheel drive. The wheel base is 71.6" (1810 mm)
for models with 2WD and 71.1" (1800 mm) for models with 4WD. The MX5000
tractor is compatible with a Kubota LB702 front-end loader with lift
capacity to full height of 1852 lbs (840 kg), or
Kubota LA852 front-end
loader with lift capacity to full height of 2470 lbs (1120 kg).
